Hi fellow dancers, I'm Jenny Qin, a dance addict in Sydney, Australia.
Having had much trouble with finding the right dance shoes in my 10+ years of dancing, teaching and performing, and suffered continuous blisters and pains from dance shoes that cost in the hundreds each pair, I decided to bring to my fellow dancers my own brand of dance shoes that are to be not only comfortable, supportive, and stylish, but also affordable.
With this aim in mind, in 2006 JQDance was born. From first selling to all the major dance schools and dance events in Sydney, Perth and Byron Bay, to selling on eBay then our own website, it has been a great experience, and pleasure, to service the dance community, and a great honour to be receiving all the wonderful positive feedbacks from everyone since day one. With the help of two top dance instructors in Australia, Lea Genlik and Pascale Dernocoure, we are continuing to make refinements and improvements in our shoes and services to suit the individual needs of every dancers.
Our ebay customer-base covers the whole of Australia, as well as stretching to the Netherlands, Italy, UK, Singapore and USA. Having participated in various national and international Salsa events such as the Byron Bay Latin Fiesta, West Coast Salsa Congress in Perth, the Sydney Salsa Congress, and the New Zealand Salsa Congress, as well as having distributors in most major cities in Australia, JQDance the brand is growing ever more popular.
Because we are fussy with shoes for ourselves, we are fussy with the shoes that we share with our fellow dancers. Therefore, we are devoted to bringing to you quality, stylish and comfortable dance shoes and products at very affordable prices, at the same time as paying special attention to your individual needs. Due to popular demand, this devotion has also brought us to introduce dance boots to Australia, both smooth and sensual velvet ones, and sexy and supportive leather ones.
All our dance shoes are ergonomically made to adhere to the natural curve of the feet while being extremely soft and flexible, as well as having thick sole padding to cushion the impact of vigorous dancing. Being dancers ourselves, we know the high-turnover nature of dance shoes, and believe that comfort and affordability should come before high profit margins. We therefore priced our shoes accordingly. With dance shoes starting from well below $100 to just over $100, our shoes are less than half of what people normally pay for one pair of dance shoes elsewhere.
